Kendo Referee Flags - KuSakura
Kendo matches are regulated by three court referees, a lead one and two other secondaries, all communicating using red and white flag. Furthermore, the table composed of three other referees respectively in charge of the time, the scores, and of the global management of the whole table, also uses two triangular flags, yellow and red.
The court referees are standing on each side of the Kendoka in order to form a triangle on the Shiaijo (fighting field). As such, there are always at least two referees capable of seeing the details of the combat. This positioning was designed in order to limit the risk of a potential mistake due to a missed action by the referees.
These Kendo Referee Flags are all included in the provided with a carry bag.
